Beatrix Rowe is a self taught Australian artist from NSW  Her personal body of work focuses upon portraiture in oil painting and illustration whilst she builds a small business in bespoke leather painted accessories called Prawn Cocktail Her work has been successful in the 2015 HSC Art Express Exhibition with other illustrations later being published in the Financial Review Newspaper, Gusher Magazine and commissions for private customers. After briefly studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Print Media at the Victorian College of the Arts she moved on to pursue a career as the sole trader of an accessory line In 2018 Beatrix attended the Lakkos art residency in Crete and completed a body of work in illustration and a large mural in the old fish market.
